Cocktail Creatures
Cocktail Creatures is a speculative exploration of the relationships between human consciousness, evolution, technology, and non-human forms of existence.
Set against the backdrop of the sixth mass extinction, the film imagines life not as a collection of autonomous organisms, but as an unstable network of biological, technological, and environmental relations.
Moving between scientific research and speculation, the work considers evolution as an open-ended process of adaptation, mutation, and accidental transformation. Organic forms emerge, dissolve, and reorganize, suggesting bodies that may no longer conform to familiar categories of species or individuality.
Rather than imagining the non-human as something external or alien, Cocktail Creatures turns attention toward the strangeness already embedded within our own bodies, environments, and systems of perception.
